A few weeks ago I had the task to have a look into some pictures if I could find any hint where these were taken. And so I had to find ways to do this. Unfortunately the pictures provided to me were of such bad quality that in the end no result came up. But anyway, I found one interesting tool which could be useful for anybody.
In my example, I will show you how to identify famous building over the internet, even if you do not really know them. I´ve tried this with a few objects and we will use for example something everybody knows: The Eiffel Tower.
So if you visit Google on the right upper side you find a button leading to the image search. Usually you can search for images, but you can also do it the other way around. You can simply drag & drop any image into the field.
And here comes the results… Amazing isn´t it?
So the next time you have a significant building on a picture you are having a look at, maybe this might help you.
